Turn off Find My on your devices and items 

 

You should turn off Find My before you sell, give away, service or trade in a device 

 

 

 

 

 

Turn off Find My on an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac 

 

 

 

- You can disable Find My in iCloud or Apple ID settings to remove your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac from the service. 

 

- Activation Lock is turned off when Find My is turned off on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.  

 

- Go to Settings > [your name] > Find My iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If Find My [device] is enabled, turn it off. 

 

- To disable Find My Mac on a Mac, go to Apple > System Preferences, click Apple ID, then click iCloud in the sidebar.

Turn off Find My on an Apple Watch 

 

 

 

Unpair your Apple Watch with your iPhone to remove it from Find My. Activation Lock has been turned off. 

 

 

 

 

Remove your AirPods or Beats headphones from Find My 

 

 

You can unpair your AirPods or Beats headphones from Find My by going into Bluetooth settings on each of your devices and removing them from the devices list. 

 

 

 

Unregister your AirTag or third-party item 

 

 

Your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch can be used to unregister an AirTag or third-party item from your Apple ID.
